Pigeon racing is an exciting sport that combines the natural homing instinct of pigeons with careful breeding, training, and competition. Birds are transported to a release point and race home to their loft, where their arrival is precisely timed.

How Racing Works

Racing pigeons are released from a common point and fly home to their individual lofts. The distance from release point to each loft is measured, and the birds flying time is recorded. The winner is determined by calculating yards per minute - the bird with the highest speed wins.
